At NeBu we’re conscious that there are thousands of sun loungers in use today that contain high levels of plastic and they'll reach the end of their life at some point. Most plastics can only be recycled once.

Some manufacturers may claim that the materials they use are ‘recyclable’ but how do you know?

Because it has a label or because they say so? Even if they are, how will they be disposed of responsibly with minimal impact to the environment?

• The primary construction material is aluminium which is strong, durable and weather resistant, but importantly, around 75% of all the aluminium ever produced is still in productive use today, some having been through countless loops of its lifecycle.
